Steve’s versatility as a vocalist has enabled him to perform with many different bands in lots of different styles. He is equally at home singing in a jazz trio, a church quartet, a rock band, with a twenty-piece big band or a full symphonic orchestra.
A large percentage of his professional career has been spent performing in a cappella groups such as We3, The Magnets and Cantabile (The London Quartet). For two decades he toured the world with these groups and enjoyed countless sell-out seasons at the Edinburgh and Adelaide Fringe Festivals.
One of his earliest tours was to the USA with vocal group Synergy performing and working alongside Steve Reich and Beryl Korot for their groundbreaking video operas.
Steve frequently features as the frontman for dynamic function bands including Pandora’s Jukebox, Halfway To New York, The Diamond Skyline Orchestra and Last Dynasty.
Over the last few years Steve has had the great pleasure of singing lead vocals for various symphonic concerts (including Eurovision, Queen, Disco, 90s, Classic Rock and The Beach Boys) with the Hallé Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, the RTÉ Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the BBC Concert Orchestra.
